Bashtronaut is a retro hack-and-bash adventure set to release in 2024

Bashtronaut is my second game credit, as well as my second time working with Orion Games, a small indie team. As the Animation Director, I was responsible for character production, personally bringing both the player character and over 25 NPCs from concept to fully animated, in-engine assets. Working closely with our programing team, I helped to design and develop move-sets and other behaviors for our character roster. Bashtronaut utilizes the successful combat system we developed for Arto.

I also was the primary VFX artist in the project. I made everything from character decorative effects, to environmental effects, critical gameplay effects such as player and enemy attacks, as well as our attack “Tells” system.

Bashtronaut is yet to be released, so I cant share much more at this time.
